Loss can’t be expressed
With mere words on a
Plain paper,
For it is the silent scream
Of each person’s soul.
Loss can’t be expressed
With mere words on a
Plain paper,
For it is the silent scream
Of each person’s soul.
We’ve been together
Through the ice,
Through the fire;
And since then I spent
Every day thanking God
For giving me what I had
Truly desired –
A soul to complete mine.
Pleading Kronos for another chance
To make things right,
Asking Zeus for a thunderstorm
To either wash my thoughts or kill my regrets,
Begging Hades to show some mercy
To a lost soul in the wrong place…
… but gods don’t change Order for a mere mortal.
Falling from the sky,
I arrived on Earth,
And here I got deep roots
And now when Death
Has come for me
And it is time to say “Goodbye,”
I stubbornly cling onto Earth
And refuse to go back
Where I truly belong.
Selflessness is quite
An admirable quality
Which we put on a pedestal
To look at it.
Seeking it in others
When we’re sick to the core
And our mind
Couldn’t conceive possessing it.
The gesture of grand love
Bringing also a lot of pain
In the souls of poor
Humans whose happiness means making the others happy.
I was cold,
So I let you in,
Hoping you’d
Warm me up,
And set my heart
On fire.
But you were thunder
And you announced
The lightening.
You were the god
Of storm.
… and I was caught in its eye.
Look me in the eyes,
And tell me what you see;
Do they reflect my love for you?
Are they a window to my soul?
Because when I look into yours,
I see the whole Universe,
Sparkles, and stars, and many wishes
Ready to come true.
