There are so many platforms out on the Internet which can be used by an artist to promote his work. Still, some are better than others. I decided to make a list of the platform I use to stay connected with my readers. I think you’ll find it pleasant.
According to the latest statistics (that can be found HERE; July 2016), “there are over 1.71 billion monthly active Facebook users”. What better platform could you use to make a name for yourself? Facebook is easy to use and it’s in trend. You can join groups, share pictures, and make friends and connections.
Twitter is very good, especially after you master the power of hashtags. It’s great for persons who don’t have much time to write a post. Each tweet consists of 140 characters. This platform can help you get known through hashtags and you can easily share interesting facts or posts you’d come across.
This platform is great especially for those who love photography. Instagram is great because, if you use it properly, you can look more human to your readers. Showing “behind the scenes” is fun. Besides, you can post inspirational photos, landscapes, whatever you like or admire.
Thanks to its great communities and renown, Google + it’s on this list, too. The platform allows the user to find persons with similar interest to engage into conversation, to promote his works and to share other things they find captivating in their field.
This tremendous platform is essential for every published writer. Not only you can receive reviews and rating, you can also have an incorporated blog – or link your personal blog. In additions to this, you can organise a giveaway!
*Note that the order I put them in is purely random, and all of them are important.
